Team Lead/AVP/DVP - Algorithmic Trading Risk

About Profile :

- Our client is one of the biggest algorithmic trading setups in India. Given the non symmetric risk posed by algorithmic trading, a dedicated team is setup within Global Risk group which focuses on all the risks emanating from algorithmic trading and trading technologies across the organisation. This profile is for senior role within this team.

- The candidate will be managing a team of 8-10 members comprising of Engineers as well as MBA from top colleges looking after the day to day risk management activities.

- The person will be the single point of contact for businesses for seeking approval for any new algorithmic trading strategy as well as associated software / hardware applications. An important aspect of this role will be to understand the underlying technical complexities and identifying the potential risks emanating from the same.

- In a layman term it is all about converting unknown risks into known risks. And then based on this understanding, the person has to suggest controls (either systemic or process driver) for mitigating the same.

- Person in this role will also play a important role in the defining the landscape of the future growth of algorithmic trading within organisation and for the same he / she will be involved in frequent communication with senior leaders across businesses.

Mandatory Requirements :

- Work experience of 8-10 years in Trading Technology in reputed firms.

- Good educational qualification

- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
