Role Overview

The Senior Manager (Accounts Receivable) should be able to build strong relationships with enterprise accounts and understand the procure-to-pay cycles of our customers. The role would majorly revolve around understanding the billing processes to provide guidance to customers, and collection teams, identify defects immediately and drive resolution upstream of AR. He/she would also be responsible for managing a team of 8-10 ppl and develop policies, procedures and processes with internal support teams, then implementing and enforcing (continuous improvement cycle).

Key Responsibilities

1. Collaborate with cross-functional business owners to help drive operational strategy while continuing to focus on an outstanding customer experience.

2. Analyse the workflow to improve process quality and enhance productivity.

3. Provide prompt, efficient, detailed, customer-oriented service to Teachmint customers.

4. Act as the Voice of the Customer for our Teachmint top tier customers and Sales Teams, reporting and revamping observed areas for improvement.

5. Actively seek solutions for customer and sales needs, communicate trends to leadership, and suggest innovative solutions on behalf of the customer experience.

6. Ensure that all practices comply with the law and applicable compliances.

7. Stay-up-to-date with the industry's best practices and implement them when necessary.

8. Ensure that the accounting team is working in the best capacity.

9. Keep track of all payment transactions to be upheld by the company's clients.

10 .Manage the team and motivate them to give their best performance

11. Keep track of invoicing, reconciliation, reporting and accounting of AR transactions.

12. Automate processes for better efficiency and seamless execution of deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Master's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or related field is preferred CA

2. 5+ years of accounting experience and a CPA certificate is a plus

3. Basic computer skills (MS Office) with prior experience working with accounting software like General Ledger (Costpoint) software

4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with employees, superiors and customers.

5. Strong analytical and time management skills; Good presentation skills; Well planned, organized with keen attention to detail.
