Job Overview:
- TE Connectivity's Distribution & Logistics Teams manage the efficient flow of goods, services and information between point of origin through customer placement in order to meet customer requirements or internal business objectives.
- They create integrated processes among internal functions such as operations, purchasing and logistics, and outside suppliers.
- They also focus resources on continuous improvement of the movement of materials through various production processes, and establish key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain planning/forecasting to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
Roles & Responsibility:
- Analysing Global Logistics data and delivering value through identifying opportunities to optimise process and operations and reduce cost to TE.
- Able to work across different domains and get a quick sense of the business processes & flows, to translate business problems into the data realm and identify pertinent and meaningful solutions.
- Managing periodic Rate uploads based on RFQ / spot approvals at TMS (Transport Management System)
- Troubleshoot TMS related queries and support regional business to drive TMS systems.
- 3-5 years relevant experience in various reporting related activities along with logistics experience.
- BY TMS (Blue Yonder) knowledge is preferred.
- Knowledge of SAP modules pertaining to Logistics and accounting
- Excellent in Advanced Excel skill sets & attention to detail
- Skilled in Microsoft SQL server application software
- Skilled in SAP BusinessObjects/ Power BI/ TED etc reporting software
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to develop new skills and understand new technology as required
- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks
Educational Degree:
- Any master's degree (logistics domain would be an advantage
- Certification in Supply Chain preferred.
