BU / FUNCTION DESCRIPTION

AUTOMOTIVE (TRANSPORTATION SOLUTIONS)

ROLE OBJECTIVE

- The person is self-starter, motivated and works with less supervision.

- Person is accountable for providing detailed analysis about the performance of the key Performance Indicators.

- Building and managing smarter solutions including predictive models using existing tools for better managing business processes

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Accountable for providing detailed analysis for set of Key Performance Indicators

- Extraction of data from DBMS systems using SQL/other query languages to create datasets for analysis

- Designs and delivers core and ad hoc reporting, along with first level interpretation to provide insights and support decision making by individuals, business group managers, and division leaders.

- Proactively identifying root causes on KPI changes and update management

- Generate and maintain business decision specific reports and dashboards using multiple business intelligence system, Business Objects, Cognos, SharePoint, and SQL Server and other sources

- Design dashboards in Tableau, Power BI to provide meaningful views to the business-critical information

- Communicate with multiple teams to gather information and provide management level summary.

- Solve ad-hoc requirement of Management related to data for critical decision making.

- Provide clarifications, training and support to the development teams

- Integrate Predictive & Prescriptive Models (machine learning solutions) in visualization to perform the analysis

EDUCATION/KNOWLEDGE

- Master's degree (preferably in Statistics/Computer Science/MBA) with 4 years of relevant work experience OR Bachelors with 5 years of relevant work experience.

CRITICAL EXPERIENCE

- Experience in providing insights on Sales, Supply chain, Manufacturing, etc. using Tableau/Power BI

- Knowledge of Database Management Systems (DBMS), SQL queries

- Expert level proficiency in MS Word and Power Point

- Prior experience in delivering in Project Management System (Waterfall/Agile)

- Good understanding of - Quote to Cash- & - Procure to Pay- process

- Experience in handling large volumes of data, providing insights, spotting anomalies, identifying trends and complex relationships.

- Programming and analytical experience in major analytics software packages (R or Python or SAS) is added advantage.

- Exposure to working with Sales, Supply Chain & Manufacturing KPI's.

COMPETENCIES

- Expert understanding of financial terminologies and figures

- Experience in automotive industry preferred

- Fluent in English both written and spoken; additional knowledge of another language (e. g. German, Chinese) is an advantage

- Prior experience working in Agile way is a plus

- Always willing to experiment with new tools & technique to improve processes

- Prior experience with EMEA business

- Must be willing to work on Flexible shifts (12 PM - 9PM)
