TCS - Technical Architect - MSTR

Experience: 8 to 10 Years

Role Description - Technical Architect responsible for understanding business requirements, technical architecture and come-up with Technical Solutions

Responsibilities

- Translates business requirements into Technical solution, High Level Design / Business object Model that are scalable and reliable

- Ensure that the design is documented and transitioned to implementation team

- Define and design solutions that would represent the future state of integrated solutions, product suites and integration into broader Nielsen strategies.

- Define and design Integrated BI Architectures (comprised of Data Models, MSTR components, interfaces, Cache mechanisms) for enterprise applications in web and mobile experiences.

- Provide technical guidance and training to the implementation teams as well as ensuring that the implementations follow the documented design

- Signs-off System Requirements and Low Level Design

- Conduct reviews for Code and Test scenarios

Desired Profile

- 8 to 10 years overall IT experience including 5+ years of strong progressive IT experience in the application development space, 3 - 5 years hands-on design experience.

- Candidates should have working experience around the following competencies:

- MSTR Architect

- Experience with enterprise data, OLAP, data modelling, cubes, BI E2E Architecture, customisations and Integration framework of MSTR with enterprise systems.

- Experience in MSTR customisations, Dashboards, analytical tools, attributes, Visualisations, prompts, selectors

- Experience in MSTR enterprise Performance Tuning

- Experience in strategies for porting MSTR reports to Mobile/Tablet platform

- Experience in creating Business Object Model based on the requirements

- Experienced in Architecture governance processes and conducting Architecture reviews and evaluations

- Should have working knowledge of the following tools and technologies

- Microstrategy (Designer, SDK), Java, JSP

- PL/SQL, Data Modelling

- DHTML, XML, AJAX

- Understanding of the link between business needs and application technology

- Work well in a multidiscipline team environment providing leadership in areas of expertise

- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
