Job Responsibilities:
- Evangelize the benefits of TCS Big Data Services to customers around the world across multiple forums.
- Demonstrate thought leadership in Big Data services across multiple channels and become a trusted advisor to senior decision makers.
- Provide customer and market feedback to the product and engineering teams and influence product direction.
- Define and deliver presentations to wow prospective customers and drive excitement and positive perception for TCS Digital Enterprise’s Big Data products and services
- Develop compelling presentations, demos and content for use across the customer life cycle.
- Influence the course of the Big Data services market through technical depth, business understanding and market analysis.
- Identify and implement all relevant channels of engagement with prospects (e.g. online / trade shows / creative new programs etc.) to help drive attention and engagement
- Remain current on all relevant developments in the industry and our product & services portfolio
- Provide guidance to prospects on their broad needs
- Maintain a close loop with the leadership team to Identify and support new product & service opportunities based on direct and indirect prospect feedback as well as industry trends
Skills/Experience
- Superb public speaking, interpersonal, written and presentation skills to communicate effectively with C level executives of prospects from various geographies. This needs to be demonstrated by 3 or more years of experience in a similar role preferably in US or other major markets
- Possess broad current industry knowledge of all technologies and trends related to Big Data
- Agile, enthusiastic self starter who takes pride in being on top of the technology bleeding edge and recognized as a knowledge source within the community
- Strong influencer capable of predicting and connecting needs of customers to our products/services resulting in excitement with future customers and partners
- Possesses and maintains a strong information network within the industry and within the company
- Enthusiastic and professional with a team player attitude and a focus on customer wants and needs
- Ability to travel as needed
- MBA with B.S or M.S in Computer Science. Major US Schools, IITs, IIMs preferred
- 10+ years of relevant industry experience
- At least 5 years of relevant Sales or comparative experience in Big Data
- Past relevant successes demonstrating influencing skills via industry recognition/implemented solutions preferred
- Entrepreneurial experience a plus
