TCS - Mobility Architect

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have :

- Provide proven knowledge in iOS application functionality and limitations including Objective C, cocoa framework, core data and other native API integration

- Good working knowledge of HTML5, CSS 3, XML, Javascript, AJAX, JQuery,JSON, XML, SOAP, RESTful Web Services

- Working knowledge of Mobile frameworks like Phonegap

- Excellent knowledge of Java/J2EE, Web Services

- A thorough understanding of OOPS, design patterns, iOS, Android, and enterprise mobile application integration.

- Experience with Enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions

- Proven ability to design, optimize and integrate business processes across disparate systems and mobile technologies

Good-to-Have :

- Working knowledge of different Mobile frameworks like Phonegap, JQuery mobile

- Understanding of BlackBerry, Windows8 Mobile development

- Working knowledge of Javascript frameworks Backbone, Angular, Knockout

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

- Act as Mobile SME, directly responsible to multiple businesses in leading the analysis,estimations,design, development, and implementation of all mobile applications.

- Creation and maintenance of the overall mobile application architecture, and the creation of the mobile application roadmap to achieve that architecture.

- Responsible for the full project life cycle development of mobile applications and the creation and maintenance of those application styles and coding standards

- Should be able to guide the Team in the usage of different Mobile frameworks like Phonegap. JQuery mobile

- Function as Developer and Lead responsible for programming iOS (native iPhone and iOS), Mobile Web and Android Applications.

- Responsible for working with the Pre- Sales team and providing estimates, Architecture of the proposed solution
