TCS - Digital Enterprise Architect

Required Technical Skill Set -Ideal is to have skills in Mobility, Big Data, Analytics and Cloud with good EA background.

Alternately:

- Combination of EA + Mobility, EA + Big Data

- Combination of J2EE + Mobility, J2EE + Big Data

- Combination of .NET + Mobility, .NET + Big Data

- Good understanding of one or more of the following technologies

Mobility & Pervasive Devices Computing:

- Mobile Platforms : iOS, Android, Windows Phone 7 & 8, Windows 8, HTML5, Hybrid

- Languages – Java, Objective C, C#, Python

- Development Environment (OS) – Windows 8, Mac OS X, Linux

Big Data and Analytics:

- Large scale data processing, storage and scaling concepts

- Experience with Hadoop, NoSQL

- Big Data information strategy, design and develop complex technical data and big data architectures

- Cloud Experience in developing applications in cloud infrastructure such as Amazon, Azure or VM Ware

In addition, good understanding of one or more of the following is required

- J2EE or .NET Architecture

- SOA, CEP

- ERP, CRM or Enterprise Apps

Must-Have:

- Knowledge aboutMobility, Big Data or Cloud Architectures

- Knowledge about J2EE or .NET Architecture

- Knowledge about Enterprise Architecture (TOGAF)

- Knowledge about SOA, CEP, OOPS, Component Based design or ERP, CRM based solution

- Consulting Aptitude, Quantitative analysis, Interviewing skills, Conceptualizing solutions, Client relationship skills

- Ability to perform Business and IT requirement analysis in developing business, data and technology architectures

- Must be willing to travel around the globe on short term assignments and/or long term assignments

Good-to-Have:

- Leadership skills – ability to lead, motivate and manage teams

- Good communication skills – presentation, written and oral with ability to understand customer requirements and articulate solutions

- Awareness of technology and industry trends and impact to industry

- Experience in managing CIO/ CTO interactions

- Familiarity with EA frameworks like TOGAF, Zachman, etc.

- Proven thought leadership (papers published, conferences spoken)

- Motivated and self driven

- Good understanding of Infrastructure architecture will be helpful

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role:

- Deliver consulting engagements by understanding customer problems and articulating solutions.

- Provides business and technical leadership for the development and execution of Digital strategies in large, complex organizations.

- Work with TCS customers and TCS teams at existing and prospective clients to better understand their challenges, requirements, and opportunities.

- This individual will be responsible to drive internal and external change, expand business opportunities and develop unique business partnerships.

- Willingness/ ability to travel to different geographies

- Thought leader in the Digital space for TCS and publish papers, blogs.
