Role - Cloud Architect

Required Technical Skill Set

(Broad Skills mentioned here not all of them are required) AWS, Azure, Rackspace, Google App engine, EMC, Cisco, VMWare, Eucalyptus, OpenStack, CloudStack

Chef, Puppet, Jenkins, Jamcraker, Dell Boomi

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

1. Experience designing cloud architecture for public and hybrid cloud models

2. Experience in designing large scale environments with Windows, Linux environments

3. Should have experience designing service management, orchestration, monitoring and management requirements of cloud platform

4. Strong knowledge of enterprise architectures and cloud reference architecture

5. Expertise in designing HA, DR, Backup and retention architectures on cloud platforms

6. Hands on experience in at least two of the cloud platforms mentioned below

AWS, Azure, Rackspace, OpenStack, CloudStack, BMC CLM etc.

Good-to-Have

1. Prior work experience in Practice roles will be advantage

2. Storage deployment and fine tuning with EMC, Hitachi, NetApp etc.

LAN, WAN deployment, fine tuning

3.Familiar with distributed systems like Cassandra, Gluster, Ceph

4.Hands on experience with VMware vSphere products such as vSphere, vCloud Director, SRM, vCenter Operations, etc

1 Mentor technical leaders in design and coding

2 Evaluate industry trends, open source project innovations and drive such adoptions in the company

3 Design and implement large scale private cloud platform

4 Optimisation of resource and improve the performance

5 Design a highly scalable and redundant virtual infrastructure to support the requirements

6 Develop and manage capacity and growth projection forecasts of the environment within budgets

7 Provide innovative suggestions for complex implementation solutions

8 Deliver presentations and tech-talks to both internal and external customers

9 Actively contributes to strategic planning for at both project & market level

10 Write technical responses to RFP's & RFI- s

11 Run technology based training for project, accounts teams
