Associate Director - Product Manager


Job Description:


- As the Associate Director - Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our product portfolio.


- Leveraging your 7-8+ years of product management experience, you will lead a team of talented product managers and work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product strategy, development, and delivery.


- This role requires a deep understanding of our industry, strong leadership skills, and a passion for creating innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers.


Key Responsibilities:


Product Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives. Define and communicate a clear product vision to the team.


Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability. Provide guidance and support to help team members reach their full potential.


Market Research: Conduct thorough market research, including competitor analysis and customer feedback, to identify market trends and opportunities. Use data-driven insights to make informed product decisions.


Product Roadmap: Create and maintain a product roadmap that prioritizes features and enhancements based on customer needs, business goals, and market dynamics.


Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to ensure successful product development and delivery. Serve as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.


Product Development: Drive the product development process from concept to launch. Define product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria. Work closely with engineering teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.


Performance Metrics: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of product initiatives. Analyze data to make data-driven decisions and iterate on product improvements.


Stakeholder Communication: Communicate product updates, progress, and strategy to internal and external stakeholders, including executives, partners, and customers.


Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges in product development and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful project outcomes.


Qualifications:


- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.


- 7-8+ years of progressive experience in product management, with a proven track record of successfully launching and managing products.


- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in leading and developing high performing teams.


- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.


- Deep market and industry knowledge with the ability to identify emerging trends and opportunities.


- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.


- Proficiency in project management and product management tools/software.
