Job Description

- Should have good experience in VAT and Excise to be based out of the Corporate office in Gurgaon. Some exposure to Direct Tax will be an added advantage.

- Value Added Tax (VAT); Sales Tax; Excise duty; Stamp Duties; Service Tax and Expenditure Tax.

Should have handled roles like:

- Preparation of returns for Service Tax , VAT, Etc.

- Ensuring timely payment of Service Tax, VAT, WCT;

- Providing expert advice on Indirect tax laws and regulations

- Preparation of returns for VAT, TDS

- Adhering to indirect tax compliance timelines as per statute

- Monitor & ensure assessment of revenue relating to Excise/Sales tax/ VAT/ Service tax / Income tax

- Advise the management on revenue implications & savings arising out of specific provisions of
laws/rules.

- Leading and managing engagements in the field of indirect tax

- Assistance is developing innovative solutions

- Suggest and Work with consultants, legal counsels in matters relating to cases/issues.

- Appearance before the senior government officials/tribunals for representing the Company in matters of adjudication & appeals and represent the Company/group in tax & economic forums.
