Responsibilities:

- Compliance Champion: Lead and execute timely statutory compliance procedures in collaboration with the company's consultants, ensuring adherence to all tax regulations.

- Tax Provision & Reporting Expert: Prepare accurate tax provision schedules, tax returns, payments, and reports, maintaining a comprehensive tax database.

- This includes managing GST filing, payment, and TDS calculations effectively.

- Regular Tax Reporting & Payment: Meet deadlines for submitting quarterly and annual tax reports and payments, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

- Tax Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve complex tax issues or discrepancies arising from past filings, promoting efficient tax management.

- Data-Driven Decision Support: Provide valuable financial data and insights to management, enabling informed decision-making with tax implications considered.

- MIS Reporting & Analysis: Generate insightful Management Information System (MIS) reports, analyzing financial data to improve tax efficiency.

- Tax Optimization Strategist: Proactively identify tax-saving opportunities and recommend strategies to minimize tax liability and maximize company profits.

- Liaison & Communication: Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external auditors, ensuring smooth communication and compliance audits.

- Tax Forecasting & Planning: Utilize current regulations and financial data to forecast future tax liabilities, enabling strategic financial planning for management.

- Process Review & Improvement: Conduct regular reviews of tax-related processes and compliance measures, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.

Key Skills & Requirements:

- Technical Expertise: Minimum 2+ years of experience in tax accounting, demonstrating a strong understanding of GST and TDS compliance specific to the real estate and trading sectors.

- Tally Specialist: Expert knowledge of Tally accounting software, with additional experience in cost center management within Tally being a valuable advantage.

- Analytical & Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve complex tax-related issues.

- Reporting & Analysis: Proficiency in generating MIS reports, analyzing financial data, and extracting actionable insights.

- Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with management, auditors, and consultants
