Tax Manager
Skillset: Manager (1065)
Roles & Responsibilities:Client and Account Management:- Build existing client relationships and demonstrate knowledge of the industry.
- Keep up to date with relevant industry regulatory changes affecting business operations.
- Act as a technical and knowledge resource to the tax practice.
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges.
- Maintain internal controls ensuring the team is compliant with Client's requirements.
Technical Knowledge:- The candidate will be responsible for US Tax Returns 1065 ,Multistate Tax Returns
- Should have good knowledge of CCH or OneSource or Go System.
- Have good knowledge of International Forms like 5471, 8858, 8865.
- Timely compliance/ assessments related to Federal and state.
- Preparation of tax computations for advance tax payment, State Estimates, and Extensions for Federal/State/local, and Quarterly Provisions
- Coordinate with the tax advisory firm in the preparation of international tax returns.
- Preparations of State Apportionment and State Tax Workpapers
- Experience in US Federal & State Depreciation Computations
People Leadership:- Lead and support the set-up of Tax practices to assist with the production of tax deliverables.
- Ensure effective staff development: train, coach, supervise and appraise the performance of the team.
- Manage and oversee a team of seniors, reviewers, and preparers.
- Acts as a role model and inspires others to embrace and live our purpose and values.
Desired Skills:- 10 years + minimum experience in US Direct tax compliance is preferred.
- Experience in Partnership tax returns preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of US Federal, State taxes and International Taxes
- Must have experience in any of the taxation tools (CCH preferred)
- Candidate should have exposure working with Clients directly.
- Good verbal and written English communication skills.
- Candidate should be open to working from onsite.
