Tax Communication Manager (Diversity Candidates)


BNC is hiring diversity candidates for Big4 for Tax Communication Manager role

1. Tax News Flash: The Tax Communication Manager is responsible for monitoring and identifying recent judicial/statutory developments and prepare tax news flash to be sent to clients and all India Tax KPMG. Also, the Tax Communication Manager is responsible for coordinating with various specialist teams i.e., FEMA, GMS etc. to ensure that tax alerts in their domain of expertise are consistently prepared and released promptly.

2. Budget & other government representations: Various representations are prepared from time to time for pre-budget/post-budget suggestions, certain tax developments, procedural issues etc. The Tax Communication Manager is responsible for preparing/coordinating with various teams withing KPMG for timely filing of these representations.

3. Periodic tax compilations: The Tax Communication Manager is responsible for preparation and release of various tax compilations such as India Tax Konnect (monthly summary of important developments during the month), Tax Highlights (annual compilation of summary of most important tax decisions of the year) and Tax Assemblage (annual compilation of all the alerts released during the year).

4. Case law trackers: The Tax Communication Manager is responsible for preparation and timely updation of tracker of case laws on evolving topic of importance.

5. Collaboration with global member firms: The Tax Communication Manager is responsible for contribution to global surveys and various requests like ASPAC - India country tax profile Booklet etc.

6. Budget publications: The Tax Communication Manager is responsible for activities include identifying a budget booklet team, giving them overview of budget activities, identifying amendments and distribution of the same to SBUs, finalizing budget booklet, coordinating with design team to format the booklet, releasing of final budget booklet.

7. Other communication activities: The Tax Communication Manager is responsible for sending various internal mails i.e., taxsutra, taxman and other update emails and maintenance and updation of tax intranet pages etc.

8. Research and identify relevant and engaging content for our target audience: The Tax Communication Manager is responsible for researching and identifying content that is relevant and engaging to the target audience. This may include conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, and staying up to date with the latest news and information relevant to the target audience.

9. Curate and manage content from external sources: The Tax Communication Manager will be responsible for curating and managing content from external sources, including articles, videos, and social media posts. This may include reviewing and editing content for quality, relevance, and alignment with brand voice and messaging.

10. Create original content: The Tax Communication Manager will be responsible for creating original content, such as blog posts, infographics, and social media updates. This may include writing, editing, and formatting content, as well as working with designers to create visual elements.

11. Ensure all content aligns with our brand voice and messaging: The Tax Communication Manager will be responsible for ensuring all content aligns with the brand's voice and messaging. This may include reviewing content for consistency, cohesiveness, and alignment with the KPMG's mission, values, and tone of voice.

12. Monitor analytics and metrics: The Tax Communication Manager will be responsible for monitoring analytics and metrics to measure the success of content and adjust as needed. This may include analyzing data on application traffic, content engagement, and other metrics to identify areas for improvement.

13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: The Tax Communication Manager will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, such as marketing, design, and business teams. This may include working with these teams to develop content strategies, share insights and feedback, and ensure content is aligned with overall business objectives.

14. Update the functionality: The Tax Communication Manager will be responsible for updating the app as and when required. This may include making changes to the layout, design, and functionality of the app to improve user experience.

15. Align with Business team to get content from them: The Tax Communication Manager will be responsible for aligning with the business team to get content from them, which is relevant, trending etc. This may include working with the business team to identify areas of interest and opportunities for content, and ensure the content aligns with KPMG's overall business objectives.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. CA/MBA with 10+ years' experience in direct tax domain Self-initiated, strong leadership and collaboration skills

2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong attention to detail

3. Strong understanding of digital content, social media, and SEO

4. Experience using analytics and metrics to measure the success of content

5. Ability to work independently and as a part of the team
