Job Title: Tax Accountant - US Residential & Real Estate

Location: Ahmedabad

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant with a strong background in US residential and real estate accounting.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and executing various tax-related tasks, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws, and providing strategic tax planning and advisory services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and real estate entities.

- Conduct thorough tax research and stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the residential and real estate sectors.

- Provide strategic tax planning and advisory services to clients, optimizing their tax positions and ensuring compliance.

- Assist clients with tax audits, including preparation of necessary documentation and representation before tax authorities.

- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for accurate tax filing.

- Identify opportunities for tax savings and advise clients on tax-efficient strategies related to real estate transactions.

- Maintain detailed and organized tax records for all clients, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

- Communicate effectively with clients, addressing their tax-related inquiries and providing exceptional customer service.

- Work closely with the internal team to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's / master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax accounting, with a focus on US residential and real estate sectors.

- In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.

- Proficiency in tax preparation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
