Tavant Technologies - Data Scientist

Data Scientists with expertise in uncovering insights and identifying actionable patterns using Machine learning and large-scale data mining techniques, and strong skills in big data technologies and programming languages such as R, Python etc.

Education: Masters with emphasis in Computer Science/Statistics/Electrical Engineering/Operations Research Information Retrieval/NLP or related disciplines with sound technical expertise in one or more of the above mentioned areas.

Experience: 5-7 years

Desired Skills:

- Deep expertise with mathematical and statistical model development using tools such as R, python etc.

- Demonstrated ability to formulate scientifically challenging problems and develop and implement novel solutions in any of the areas such as, classification, regression, forecasting, recommender systems, text mining, profiling and segmentation, predictive modelling, optimization, probabilistic graphical models etc.

- Strong foundation of relational, non-relational, and NoSQL database systems.

- Good understanding of parallel processing, compute architecture, UNIX shell scripting, Hadoop ecosystem and related frameworks.

- Analytics work in diverse and multiple domains will be an added advantage
