- As a Fund Manager, you will be responsible for managing investment portfolios, analyzing market trends, and making informed investment decisions.
- Your role is crucial in driving the performance of the funds under your management, and you will play a key part in maintaining and enhancing client relationships.
- The ideal candidate has a strong- analytical mindset, a deep passion for investing, and is ultra-competitive in a positive team context.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective investment strategies.
- Monitor and manage investment risk.
- Provide regular updates and reports on fund performance.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Company and Industry Research: Conduct in-depth research on potential investment opportunities, industry sectors, and market conditions.
- This includes in-depth analysis of company and regulatory filings, competitor analysis, and interviewing management teams and industry-experts.
- Modeling: Build and maintain financial models to evaluate the potential risks and returns of various investment options, helping to identify attractive opportunities.
- Update financial models including various valuation techniques of the businesses in the portfolio and the coverage universe.
- Due Diligence: Support due diligence efforts by gathering and organizing information on prospective investments, including company profiles, competitive landscapes, and regulatory considerations.
- Manage, mentor, and guide a team of research and data analysts along with the other fund manager(s).
Qualifications:
- There are no area of study requirements but educational credentials which give you the skills required to perform the role like CA, CFA (US), MBA (Finance) are preferred.
- Advanced analytical and quantitative capabilities.
- Demonstrated interest in and passion for financial markets.
- Painfully high levels of- curiosity and skepticism.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Dedication to thinking from first principles and focusing- on the investment process not just the outcome.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality in research.
- Effective interpersonal skills and desire to work with a team.
- Graduation and Post Graduation and Qualified CFA charter.
- Experience : Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in Fund Management Role.
