GM – Talent Management
Location – Mumbai/Delhi
a) Key Objective / Purpose of the Job:
The TM team is driven to create alignment between talent, Business opportunity and strategic pivots of the organization to deliver sustainable growth and competitive differentiation through Quality Human Capital. As a Practice Lead, the incumbent will be responsible for instilling process / change initiatives as well as developing Strategy Maps and ensuring that talent becomes a differentiator in the Industry by:
- Ensure a quality talent pipeline for critical positions of the organization.
- Aligning individual work with organizational strategy
- Lead Initiatives that align Talent Management objectives with corporate goals and provide positive operational outcomes
- Using data & analytics to consistently reward, develop, nurture & deploy talent in the organization.
The TM Practice Lead is also expected to collaborate closely with business leaders, business HR and regional HR Teams to ensure business alignment and integration of the following Talent Management processes:
- Performance Management, Development Planning
- Competencies, Talent Assessments,
- Succession Management
- Rewards & Recognition
- Learning Management, Workforce Analytics
- Talent Management Governance
b) Major Activities include:
Incumbent is responsible for:
- Design and implement the talent management infrastructure, framework, and strategies to support the organizational strategy and corporate goals.
- Design and developing innovative and high-impact talent management programs and processes to improve the depth and diversity of global leadership talent.
- Collaborate with business leaders, BHR and RHR Teams in design and deployment of performance management (including goal management) and in design of frameworks like succession management/talent pipeline management, reward and recognition etc.
- Maintain oversight on TM processes led by BHR and RHR Teams such as effectively and timely implementation of Talent Conclaves, Career Action Plans, Performance Improvement Plans, Internal hiring, Succession Management, R&R etc.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen and the ability to link current and anticipated business challenges with the strategic talent management function
- Collaborate with L&D Team to develop and execute an integrated approach to learning and development and talent management.
- Benchmark with industry best practices and industry developments in talent management and apply and adapt the same internally
Person Specification
a) Essential Qualifications: - MBA in HR from a reputed institute
- Minimum of 10-12 years relevant experience in Talent Management.
b) Requisite Skills:
Domain
- Proven track record in leading and managing a team
- Proven track record in having developed successful TM practices in Organizations with visible outcomes
Functional
- Ability to understand and articulate the strategic value of integrated Talent Management processes with a strong business acumen
- Understanding of enterprise software (particularly HRIS) and other Talent Management technologies (e.g., Performance Management, Succession Management)
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Behavioral
- High sense of confidentiality and discretion.
- Strong written and verbal Communication and collaboration skills across cultures and gain shared ownership of the vision and motivate stakeholders.
