Role Objectives :
Finance Business Partner for Beverages Category & Innovation team (Category size of Rs 4000cr)
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Marketing Managers to co-create the brand P&L; create overall brand, state-wise brand P&L statements; collaborate with sales finance and PSO finance teams
- Lead monthly discussion with category head & team with insightful analysis on brand performance Sales (value and volume), margins, relative market share etc
- Provide analytical support to track marketing spend trend (ATL, BTL); Recommend areas to focus on in ATL and BTL,
- Provide critical inputs, challenges assumptions during AOP
- Lead pricing decisions based on underlying cost movements and competition tracking
- End to End finance responsibility for helping category teams in NPD business case development
- Prepare long-term financial forecasts for the category with inputs from critical functions such as sales, operations, marketing etc
- Analyse and identify avenues for cost optimization/ revenue maximization and share with the marketing team; collaborate with them on specific initiatives being launched to improve topline/bottom line
- Control the Marketing spend & Overheads budget for the Category;
- Assist Strategy function in long-term strategy development for the category as and when required
- Performance on KPIs for key marketing projects
- Putting a clear ROI framework for spend evaluation in partnership with the Category teams;
Desired Candidate
Profile/Experience
- 5-7 yrs experience in Commercial finance in any FMCG companies/ handled similar roles
- Chartered Accountant (preferably first attempt)/ MBA Finance from premier B school
- Strong analytical ability and inter personal skills
- Working knowledge in SAP
