Key Deliverables in this role:
Financial Outcomes
- Market Analysis and Strategy Development: Conducting in-depth research to identify new market opportunities and developing targeted strategies for market entry, expansion, and positioning.
- Own Private Label relationship: Be the central point of contact and lead the relationship with private label customers
- Partnership and Relationship Management: Cultivating relationships with key stakeholders such as distributors, agents, and local business partners to enhance market penetration and facilitate smooth operations.
- Sales Enablement: Supporting sales teams with insights, tools, and strategies to effectively approach and close deals in foreign markets, including training and resources tailored to specific regions.
- Regulatory and Compliance Navigation: Ensuring that marketing and business development activities adhere to local regulations and standards, including product compliance and advertising laws.
- Performance Tracking and Adaptation: Monitoring the success of marketing and business development efforts, using data-driven insights to refine strategies and address any challenges in real-time.
Critical success factors for the Role:
- MBA with work experience of 3-5 years
- Experience with sales in an export-oriented business
- Familiarity with process of launching in launching new products (Preferably food)
- Strong communication (written and verbal) skills and influencing capabilities
