Manager - Exports (Ethnic Business Development)
Key Deliverables in this role:
Financial Outcomes:
Expanding Distribution to Grow Revenue in Core Markets:
- Increase distribution coverage across channels to enhance reach and offtakes of our ethnic product portfolio in international markets.
Opening new Markets:
- Evaluating and prioritizing new markets for entry, appointment of strategic business partners, establishing optimized value chain and supply fulfillment approach.
Customer Service:
- This role would be the primary contact for the distributors in the region.
- Support the distributors to build accurate value chain's and enable best possible pricing in line with competitors.
- Regularly updating the customer on new products and communicating the forward action plan in terms of promotional activities/executions.
Internal Processes:
- Create and Execute the Annual business plan in line with AOP.
- Innovation and Learning
New Product Launch and Project Management Support:
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to share data, market information to develop and deliver suitable product portfolio in the export markets.
Critical success factors for the Role:
- 8 to 10 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent network in the market with trade partners.
- Experience across different FMCG categories
- Proficiency in analyzing export data sources.
- Proficiency in MS Office Business Tools
Desirable success factors for the Role:
- Market research for mapping of business opportunities
- Business model understanding across different export markets
- Good communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities
- Familiarity with the consumer goods industry and an understanding of its challenges and opportunities
