Key Deliverables in this role:
Financial Outcomes:
- Be the custodian for the brand P&L and anchor volume and revenue target delivery for the year
- Undertake margin improvement initiatives by looking into every cost structure of Material, Transportation, Specs changeover, Packaging changeover
- Scout and build on opportunities for scalable high-margin launches in current categories and adjacencies
- Track channel wise financial metrics and plan the intervention to generate top lines and bottom lines
Customer Service:
- Develop strong consumer understanding to devise persuasive brand proposition, claims, packaging
- Scan the market to identify opportunities for growth - range/pack extensions, new innovation
Internal Processes:
- Influence key stakeholders in Sales, Legal, Regulatory, R&D etc to drive the brand growth objectives
- Closely work with Trade Marketing team & Channel Heads to plan and execute the Annual strategy
Innovation and Learning:
- Scope and incubate new innovations and scale existing new launches
- Lead innovation on product, concept, business case and launch plans for the portfolio
Critical success factors for the Role:
- MBA, Major in marketing preferred
- 2+ years of experience in brand management OR sales experience in FMCG category
- Prior experience in working closely with sales team to drive business
- Demonstrated evidence of strong GTM execution, impactful initiatives, and business delivery
Desirable success factors for the Role:
- Conceptual clarity in basic pricing methodology, marketing mix, P&L working
- Having exposure in BTL / trade / Shopper marketing elements creation
- Exposure to anchoring new FMCG launches
- Exposure to consumer insight generation
