Position - Head - Marketing (India) – Global Enterprise Business
Work Location - Mumbai
As the lead for the Global Enterprise Marketing team for India, you would be responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy to achieve the short and long term business objectives for GES India. This role requires the incumbent to work closely with the regional sales head to shape and support the Go to Market strategy for the region.
Job Responsibilities:
- To work closely with the regional sales teams to ensure achievement of the annual business plans and also longer term strategic positioning of Tata Communications' Enterprise Business Unit and its solutions/services. Lead Marketing strategy development, positioning and go-to-market plans and marketing programs for India Enterprise Business
- Own and drive market segmentation and develop value propositions and GTM plan for individual segments and verticals
- Work closely with the other teams in the Marketing Center of Excellence to build and execute integrated marketing programs in the region
- Acquire and provide subject matter expertise on target segments to support new product development, product enhancement and long term business strategy. Share insights with other teams in Marketing COE as the representative of the segment/market
- Manage the ecosystem of Agencies and other external partners to build and deliver effective programs
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure effective 360 degree execution of the program and achievement of program objectives
- Work with Product groups for developing innovative business models
- Lead and contribute to strategic Global Marketing programs and drive sharing and reuse of assets and learning across all regions and teams
- Manage the Marketing budget for the region and drive efficiencies
Skills & Qualification
- Engineer with an MBA from reputed institutes
- 10+ years of experience with at-least 3years of experience in B2B Marketing in an IT/Telecom organization. Exposure to Business Development / Strategy is desirable
- Strong understanding of the B2B buying cycles , customer behavior and India Enterprise market dynamics
- Excellent communications skills
- Strong analytical skills and proven problem solving abilities
- Ability to conceive and articulate innovative ideas and drive projects from idea to revenue
- Ability to balance strategic focus with tactical implementation/execution
- Demonstrated ability to structure and manage multiple projects
- Team Management Experience
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams , even without a position of direct authority , and drive them towards a common goal
- Ability to deal with ambiguity
