Designation : Relationship Manager
Key Objective of the Job :
- Build new products, source new customers, maintain the relations and build business across spectrum for one of India's most exciting emerging Cleantech Space such as Rooftop Solar, Energy Efficiency and Green Buildings.
Sourcing, Market presence :
Relationship Management :
- Effective client relationship management to originate business & service client on required funding needs. Specifically, determine clients' needs and devise financial solutions to meet their financial requirements. Successful sustenance of relationship with Banks and FIs active in Cleantech Finance.
Target Orientation :
- Exploring avenues for new income generation from new as well as existing clients. Achieving individual targets and growing account profitability, while maintaining a high service standard and compliance.
Product structuring :
- Adding value to the client and staying ahead of the competition by structuring and implementing innovative deals that suit the customer within acceptable risk levels.
Team Management :
- To work in close co-ordination with departments in related areas for smooth work flow, maintaining delivery schedules and drive business profitability & growth
Key Deliverables :
Number of new projects/accounts added
- Building the book for the location / area of control
- Maintaining the Net Interest Margin (NIM)
- Fee Income
- Building and sustaining relationship with fellow Banks and FIs
- Good Sector proficiency over core infrastructure sectors (Power - Generation and T&D, Roads, Ports, Telecom, Construction, Urban Infrastructure)
- Maintaining healthy portfolio - Zero delinquency
Educational Qualification :
- Engineer and /or MBA from a Premier Institute.
Specialized job competencies :
- Deep understanding of Project Finance due diligence.
- Exposure to Renewable Energy Project Finance desirable but not mandatory.
- Extensive knowledge of non-recourse and structured financing techniques
- Familiarity with inter-creditor agreements, syndications and loan participation/s
- Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
- Experience building and maintaining effective working relationships with Independent Power Producers external contacts, commercial bank contacts, prospects, accountants, independent engineers and legal agencies
- Negotiation skills with ability to interact with people at various levels of the organization and outside environment.
- Strong sales and relationship management skills with experience in corporate relationship management.
- Must be a team player
- Good knowledge of general banking/ RBI regulations, KYC/AML norms
- Financial project evaluation, credit and analytical skills are a must

- Understanding Financial Parameters, Ratios, Risk associated with each deal
