Tata AIG - Financial Planning & Analyst - Product & Strategy

Job Description -

Annual budgets / P&L simulations/ Scenario planning / Business Partnering :

1. Pivotal role in Annual Budget preparation, target/KPI settings, discussing with various Channel and Product Heads, bringing all stakeholders together to seamlessly deliver the budget within the desired timelines

2. Develop and continually improve budgeting, financial projections, and operating forecast

3. Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives

4. Partnering with business teams to set the annual budgets of their respective channels and monitor financial metrics monthly

5. Conceptualization of P&L review formats, present the monthly business performance of various channels

6. Raising violations for various underwriting ratios w.r.t boundary conditions on monthly basis, finalizing actionable and ensuring implementation of actionable.

P&L analytics, MIS & Reporting :

1. Analyze the trends of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), variance analysis to identify the cause of unexpected variances

2. Prepare management reporting packs for timely reviews with actionable business insights

3. Deep dive into analyzing the Campaign expenses and do an impact analysis of previous initiatives

4. Overseeing the calculations of monthly payments to channels

5. Ensuring collation of commission payment grid approvals and the Quality check of payment grids basis the guidelines.

Compliance & Controls :

1. Streamlining of sales finance processes for better financial controls and agile deliveries to stakeholders; processes related to partner incentives, direct and indirect taxes, vendor management, campaign payments

2. Implementation and adherence of the business processes and controls

3. Interacting with Auditors, fulfilling information requirements and reconciliations.
