TATA AIA - Manager - Account & Finance - CA

Role Summary :

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Revenue Recognition

- Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances

- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements as per the regulatory requirements and Co-ordinate with the HO for financial closure, consolidation and other data requirements.

- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting

- Support month-end and year-end closing related processes

- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting

- Manage and comply with regulatory reporting requirements and tax filings

- Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

- Conduct risk management

- Ensure all accounting activities and internal audits comply with IFSC & IRDAI regulations

- Manage all internal and external audit which includes Statutory, Regulatory, Taxation Audits

- Data analysis and management reporting

- Additional controller duties as necessary

- Timely closure of monthly financials

- Co-ordinate with HO regarding consolidation and other requirements

- Regulatory submissions and compliance with IFSC Act, IFSC Regulations, IRDAI Act, IRDAI Regulations and Companies Act.

- No material audit observations

- Control framework

E Skills Required:

Technical - Understanding of Insurance business

- Understanding of IFSC Laws & Regulations

- Finance and Accounting skills

Qualification - Chartered Accountant

Experience : 10 years experience in Finance & Accountancy(preferably in BFSI Sector)
