Tata Advanced Systems - Senior Manager - Business Development - Proposals Engineering

Objectives :

- Studying of RFQ documents, SOW and specifications to understand the RFQ requirements (in terms of materials, manufacturing processes, special processes and other requirements) and customer need.

- To handle all incoming technical proposals for commercial and military aircraft through detailed review, analysis, preparation, coordination, costing, and pricing.

- Coordinate with all departments to optimize the resources and prepare the final proposals for submittal.

- Coordinate with equipment manufacturers to understand and advise on new technical capabilities required for incoming SOWs

- Validating NRC engineering and tooling cost against each part.

- Report results of statistical analyses, including information in the form of graphs, charts, and tables.

Major Deliverables :

- Supervise and manage all activities within the department to meet the business plan.

- Reviewing and analyzing all incoming aircraft technical RFQ or RFP for Commercial and Military aircraft and helicopters.

- Accountable on Proposing plans, supervise and monitor the progress of all activities and programs to develop the activities of Proposal & Special Projects.

- Prepare the financial and technical proposal documents in alignment with the RFQ

- Coordinate the proposal with other functional departments for feasibility, profile of customer, and the risk factors concerning the performance, market, price, and financial resources.

- Performing new business project analysis based on business case approach of various projects with the company's strategy and visions.

- Develop knowledge of business, its products and services by reading and review previous bid and design documents and spending time with technical and commercial functions

- Conducts research and analysis as directed by the senior leadership team.

- Identify relationships and trends in data, as well as any factors that could affect the results of research.

Essential Attributes :

- Masters in Engineering / Post Grad Diploma in Engineering

- Experience in RM, Machining and Fabrication processes

- Key knowledge and experience in composites and plastics manufacturing

- Experience in precision engineering or auto components manufacturing
