Imagine yourself going to work with one thing on your mind: that you want to analyze compensation data and evaluate job positions to determine the right compensation for each individual. As you tackle your new tasks for the day, you know that it will lead to one thing: that you will also review, design, and administer compensation programs for India.

As the Manager - Compensation, you will take part in administration, maintenance, and enhancement of all Comp tools. You will also provide management of the Compensation function within the company to include but not limited to, Salary Benchmarking Salary Structure, Comp Plans Implementation, Vendor management, Reporting and Data administration, and guidance to the compensation team. You will provide support in developing policies based on long and short-term compensation strategy of the business and partner with management to drive business value and proactive employer of choice initiatives to drive motivation, diversity, retention, positive work environment, etc. You will partner with functional HR Managers & key HR process owners to implement proactive employee retention strategies, roll out initiatives, & provide support & assistance to operations and other support functions. You will perform other job-related assignments that may be assigned from time to time.

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

- Ensuring our compensation plans comply with the relevant legislations

- Partner with recruiting, people and rewards leadership, and hiring managers to develop competitive salary recommendations (e.g., hiring offers, promotion, corrections, etc).

- Support in the Annual and Mid-Year Compensation planning process and related work streams. This includes design, process development, project management, and communication planning.

- Manage the annual market analysis for India, including survey participation, market pricing practices, salary structures, merit recommendations and involvement in data preparation, data analysis, development and delivery of observations, and recommendations to Business and Rewards leadership.

- Provide leadership to the India Compensation team on compensation issues and solutions (e.g., comp analysis, retention programs, one-time payments, off-cycle increases, etc.).

- Champion the company's global compensation philosophy and partner across Human Resources and the business to ensure compensation programs are designed and delivered in alignment with global compensation, total rewards, and HR objectives.

- Assist with ongoing compensation initiatives and projects and handle ad-hoc projects/ assignments as requested.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Economics, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience preferred.

- 5+ years of related professional experience

- 3+ years of compensation experience in a global company

- Strong business and financial acumen, demonstrated project management skills, outstanding written and verbal communications skills

- Independent, self-motivated, and detail-oriented; excellent problem-solving skills

- Advanced spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets) and strong slide show presentation skills (PowerPoint, Google Slides)

- In-depth knowledge of compensation practices, job evaluation, market analysis, and regulatory requirements related to employee compensation

- Knowledge of building compensation packages for various departments and seniority levels

- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using compensation and HRIS systems (preferably Workday) to analyze data and generate reports.

- Master's degrees or relevant certifications (e.g.,CCP - Certified Compensation Professional) are a plus.

- Vendor management experience is a must
