Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies: This involves creating plans to attract and hire talent that aligns with the organization's goals and culture.
- Bridge management and employee relations: Addressing issues and fostering positive relationships between management and employees, handling grievances, and ensuring a conducive work environment.
- Manage recruitment and selection process: Overseeing the entire process from job posting to onboarding new hires.
- Support hiring needs: This includes identifying current and future staffing needs and ensuring the organization has the talent to meet those needs.
- Develop talent management strategies: Creating frameworks and systems to nurture and retain talent within the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment: Encouraging a workplace culture that promotes collaboration, productivity, and employee satisfaction.
- Maintain pay and benefits programs: Managing compensation and benefits to attract and retain employees.
- Assess training needs: Identifying skill gaps and implementing training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
- Provide HR metrics: Reporting to management with data-driven insights on HR metrics to support decision-making.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven experience: Demonstrated success in a similar role, showing a track record of effective talent acquisition and management.
- People-oriented and results-driven: Ability to understand and prioritize both business and employee needs.
- HR metrics and systems: Proficiency in using metrics and HR systems to measure and improve HR effectiveness.
- Leadership and strategic thinking: Ability to design and execute HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Communication skills: Strong ability to listen actively, negotiate effectively, and present ideas clearly.
Additional Considerations:
- Compliance: Understanding of labor laws and regulations to ensure hiring practices and policies are compliant.
- Technology proficiency: Familiarity with HR technology such as applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS.
