The Role
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist in lateral hiring to help our company discover and acquire excellent employees across Sales, HR, Marketing among other business functions. The candidate will be entrusted with an ongoing quest to discover top quality talent, build a strong employer brand and ensure great relationships with stakeholders. The candidate will be responsible for the entire recruiting life cycle including drafting the job description, devising the search strategy, sourcing, screening, interviewing & scheduling. To be successful in this role, s/he should have an HR academic background and experience in Non-Tech hiring across levels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement the overall recruiting strategy
- Develop and update job descriptions
- Attract, source and screen candidates/applications by using databases & job portals
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications
- Conduct interviews and filter candidates for open positions
- Assess applicants' relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to internal stakeholders
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify and close staffing needs
- Create, maintain and continuously update the relevant databases
- Keep abreast with market information, talent movements and relevant business highlights
Requirements -
- MBA in HR or an equivalent degree is preferred
- Experience in non-tech hiring preferably in an executive search or recruiting agency
- Hands on experience in full-cycle recruitment
- Creative ways of sourcing and headhunting talent
- Proficient in the use of social media and job boards
- Must be detail oriented, self-motivated and a team player
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making skills
