The Group is well respected and a growing Brand in the country, with global ambitions. The group has multiple areas of interest and is in a niche segment in food and beverages , resorts & real estate, logistics , financial services and commodities.
The company is aggressively growing in all its segments and hence a new role has been created at the Group level to drive senior level recruitment - including mapping, evaluation and selection. The role will be similar to working in a reputed search firm with internal client relationships and delivery standards to be adhered to. The person will also own and drive internal talent reviews and succession planning to build the slate of candidates through Internal job postings, job rotation and including hiring of diversity talent. Additionally, we need to launch the Management Trainee Program and build a culture of internal talent development.
The right person will be conceptually sound and expert in alternative sourcing methodologies, including social media, internal referral, recruiters and build a deep understanding of the segments we operate in so as to service clients within a stiff deadline. She/ he should have demonstrated expertise and enjoy talent search and staffing. Exposure to internal talent reviews, succession planning and coaching high potential talent will be preferable.
Ideally, you would be from a well reputed institute ( XLRI, TISS and similar) with a Master's degree, with a minimum of 5-7 years of work experience in a global search firm or in the corporate office of a professionally managed company known for some of the best practices in the industry. You would have anchored hiring of P&L leaders, SBU Heads and functional leaders. A self-starter who appreciates speed and quality and one who can engage with senior leaders and demonstrate expertise will be successful in the role. Ability to communicate the vision of the company and attract key talent, detail a job description from a unstructured definition of a role, process rigor in selection and ability to negotiate and close are some of the critical skills we are seeking.
