Founded in 1945, has 16 manufacturing units spread across countries like India, Malaysia, China, Vietnam, South Africa, etc. Our client has made great progress in the last two decades with sales revenue surging from INR 3.04 Bn in 2003-04 to INR 77.4 Bn (USD1.09Bn) in 2019-20. The company has a talent base of over 10,000+ people from 22 different nationalities.

As a Talent Acquisition Lead (Assistant Manager), you would be responsible for overseeing the recruitment and hiring process within an organization. Your primary role would involve managing a team of recruiters or talent acquisition specialists and collaborating with various departments to identify and acquire top talent.

Here are some of the key responsibilities and tasks associated with the role of a Talent Acquisition Lead:

- Recruitment Strategy: Develop and implement an effective talent acquisition strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This involves identifying talent needs, understanding the hiring requirements of different departments, and planning recruitment campaigns accordingly.

- Team Management: Supervise and lead a team of recruiters or talent acquisition specialists. Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure the team meets its hiring targets and maintains a high standard of candidate quality.

- Sourcing and Networking: Oversee the sourcing of candidates through various channels, such as job boards, social media, employee referrals, and networking events. Encourage the team to explore innovative sourcing methods to attract passive candidates.

- Candidate Screening and Evaluation: Review and assess candidate applications and conduct interviews to determine their suitability for specific roles. Ensure that the team uses consistent and fair evaluation criteria during the selection process.

- Employer Branding: Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to enhance the company's employer brand. This involves promoting the organization as an attractive employer to potential candidates.

- Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Management: Utilize an ATS to track candidate progress and maintain an organized and efficient recruitment process. Ensure the team is proficient in using the ATS and that data is accurately recorded.

- Hiring Metrics and Reporting: Monitor and analyze recruitment metrics, such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, and source of hire. Use these insights to improve recruitment processes and provide regular reports to senior management.

- Collaboration with Hiring Managers: Work closely with departmental managers to understand their talent needs, provide guidance on job descriptions, and keep them updated on the recruitment progress.

- Compliance and Diversity: Ensure that the recruitment process adheres to all legal and regulatory requirements. Promote diversity and inclusion by encouraging a diverse candidate pool and fair hiring practices.

- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition. Implement improvements to the recruitment process to enhance efficiency and quality.
