JD for HR Lead Continuous Improvement position
Location: Pune
Role purpose:
Ensure the designs of business processes are :
(1) In line with global standards.
(2) Scalable
(3) Aligned across functions
(4) Follow best industry practices
(5) Provide the necessary governance and oversight to ensure processes are operated Compliantly.
(6) Closely Interlock with Technology team about Continuous Improvements
(7) Understanding of quality principles such as Lean, Six sigma, working on end to end project management.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that the functional business processes are designed to be operated compliantly
- Ensure that the business processes managed by outsourced partners are operated compliantly
- Ensure changes to business process are delivered in a way that adheres to Syngenta standards
- Ensure the consistent application of process standards and intervene directly where standards are not being met
- Ensure the compliance of projects within approved process and system standards
- Support strategic planning for major changes to processes and provide specialist knowledge to enable change to be defined
- Take accountability of all small changes to processes
- Conduct independent assessments of processes to identify areas where compliance must be strengthened
- Ensure the solution architecture is aligned with business process design and these meet guidelines and frameworks
- Keep track on the latest industry trends for BPM and for the relevant functional area.

Quality Assurance/ To be able to apply quality principles in ensuring continuous

Understanding (4)- Including initiating and ownership of projects targeting improvements
Professional experience/ Technical expertise/Business knowledge/ qualifications -
- 5+ years of experience in process design methods and tools, 2- 3 years in Quality Assurance/principles with overall 12 - 15 years of work experience preferably in HR background which is a must.
- People management experience as well included with good experience in quality and continuous improvement
- Role is about 50% of Process design and 50% of Continuous Improvement.
- Ability to challenge, drive and optimize processes
- Project and change experience
- Experience in MS Vision, quality tools such as Gantt Charts
- Lean/ six sigma and knowledge of continuous improvement tools and techniques
- Broad business knowledge across business/ regions
Quality Assurance/Tools knowledge
- Functional specialist in at least one process area
- Should also be from a sound IT background
- International experience working with large multinationals
- University degree in a commercial/ business or technical subject. HR Degree is preferred
- Excellent command of the English language, both orally and in writing
- Should have OPEX or Sig sigma understanding in implementations
- Preferred Certification in Quality Tools such as Green Belt/Six Sigma projects/OPEX principles
