Syngenta - Data Scientist

- Design, develop and manage a large scale, big data platforms

- Build out and lead a team of high performing data scientists and data engineers, that will reach across multiple consumer businesses and functions to implement models into production

- Partner with the leadership team to identify and execute on high-impact opportunities by leverage data

- Identify and present opportunities that tell cohesive, logical stories backed by data science

- Lead Innovation through data analysis led business insights

- Translate complex strategic challenges into relevant analytical framework

- Drive ROI for the bank via business insights, predictive modeling and data driven initiatives

Requirements :

- Experience in running data sciences and building out a team

- Experience working within a data sciences unit

- Extensive experience solving analytical problems using quantitative approaches

- Comfort manipulating and analyzing complex, high-volume, high-dimensionality data from varying sources

- A strong passion for empirical research and for answering hard questions with data

- A flexible analytic approach that allows for results at varying levels of precision

- Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis in a clear, precise, and actionable manner

- Strong leadership skills and ability to work across multiple functions and levels
