Financial Planning and Analysis


Education: CA/CFA (US/UK)

- 4 to 6 experiences in financial modelling and valuation modelling, Experience in FP&A, budgeting, strategic planning, Expert in advanced excel and PowerPoint.

Key responsibilities:

- Develop frameworks to translate strategies into financial models, focusing on providing insights into sales, revenue, margin, and investments, returns across business units.

- Prepare and modify driver based financial model for planning and forecasting via excel.

- Create presentations with data and insights for management review, reflections and decision

- Develop financial models 1-3-5 yr reflecting the company's strategy and its constituent businesses. This includes a long-term strategic forecast, short-term detailed operating plan, and budgets.

- Collaborate with Finance Business Partners and stakeholders to improve processes, analyses, controls, and deliverables, continually strengthening finance support.

- Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate various financial scenarios and assess their impact on the business.

- Assist in evaluating capital investment proposals, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.

- Build the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) framework, defining processes, roles, responsibilities, and financial models.

- Initiate regular quarterly and full-year financial performance estimates to review progress against plans. Provide actionable insights to the Executive Committee and Board of Directors on areas requiring corrective action.

- Track business level performance metrics as per score cards, align with business heads and publish for discussion with leadership

- Drive collaboration through cross-functional teams for developing business case analysis, executing, and interfacing with commercial, technical, finance, accounting, legal, tax, HR and other departments to ensure seamless deal execution

- Build and maintain complex financial models to evaluate various financial scenarios and assess their impact on the business.

- Assist in evaluating capital investment proposals, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.

- Participate in strategic planning sessions to align financial goals with overall business objectives.

- Perform ad-hoc analysis for special projects.
