Title: Manager, Account Management Implementation
Role Summary/Purpose:
As a Manager, Account Management Infrastructure team, you will have the opportunity to work on major business initiatives that contribute to SYFs growth and productivity objectives. In this role, you will have the responsibility of managing multiple strategy implementation assignments supporting the Account Management function & will work directly with the business, IT and strategy teams. As a Manager, you are required to be proficient in handing projects and engaging with stakeholders independently.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities:
- Manage strategy implementation and validation, code changes to implementation platform(s) for Retail Finance credit risk organization.
- Own projects to ensure successful implementation of strategies, tools and processes.
- Should be hands on to implement banking strategies into the system.
- Undertake innovation and process efficiencies by automation efforts
- Strong Understanding of Big Data and related technologies like Hive, Python etc.
- Own projects and processes till the last mile.
- Ability to work with multiple stake holder and excellent project management.
- Familiar with Agile framework and hold certifications.
- Represent credit function for all projects related to the loan origination platform.
- Support operational credit team in response to internal and external audit requests.
- Support Retail Cards Mobile, Automation and E-apply initiatives
- Complete audits of scorecard revisions and new strategy implementations.
- Assurance of six sigma rigor in strategy development, implementation, and monitoring.
- Work in conjunction with the Portfolio Credit Managers to enhance origination strategies via champion/challenger and new product initiatives.
- Work on several different projects simultaneously, of varying complexity and length.
- Should have adequate experience in project management and change delivery.
- Proactively manage efforts to maintain stakeholder satisfaction, and quantify project benefits delivered
- Develop and support Best-in-class analytic solutions.
- Able to mentor team members on the platform.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Bachelors/PG degree in any discipline
- Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in consumer/commercial risk management, lending, marketing or appropriate field in a credit card / consumer lending environment.
- Strong Understanding and working experience about strategy implementation platforms viz. Strategy Design Studio, Strategy Manager, SDS, TRIAD etc.
- Strong SAS, SQL, Python, HQL, Jason
- Experience using Unix, Mainframe, VBA
- Strong in Agile concepts and execution
- Demonstrated project management experience with extreme attention to detail, report accuracy, data integrity, and team focus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to work effectively with a wide range of end users.
- Ability to communicate technical information effectively, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage project delivery.
Desired Qualifications:
- Advance SAS/SQL, COBOL, JCL, Java, C, C++ programming capability/proficiency.
- Exposure to Big Data technologies
