Title: AVP, Marketing Campaign Operations Lead Analyst


Role Summary/Purpose:


As Campaign Operations Lead Analyst 1st shift you will be part of the Analytics Center of Excellence within Synchrony Financial, India. The selected candidate will be responsible for managing the file execution of marketing campaigns for Synchrony Financial clients within the Marketing Solutions COE. In this role one will build campaign data files based on marketing criteria, segmentation and target populations on behalf of SYF clients. Also, responsible for building automated/manual diagrams within our SAS campaign execution tool and ensuring that all campaigns are executing in an accurate and compliant manner. The selected candidate will work directly with the business in catering to the end-to-end campaign execution needs.


Essential Functions / Responsibilities:


- Manage marketing campaign data file processing for specific SYF clients.


- Provide consultative input to internal process owners and client teams on best practices for file selection, targeting and segmentation within campaign execution.


- Work with internal and external partners on the execution of campaign files including defining requirements, managing deliverables and auditing campaign files.


- Submit campaign workbooks for approval in Workfront to key stakeholders.


- Subject matter expertise in campaign execution tools, SYF data warehouses, segmentation reporting, suppression exclusions and file outputs.


- Ensure all campaign file execution process controls are followed and file outputs are completed in a compliant manner according to SYF guidelines.


- Provide thought leadership and provide end to end execution support to all campaigns.


- Proactively propose, initiate & execute process improvement that creates business impact for campaign data file execution processes.


- Proactively discuss the projects, showcase & drive for implementation and gauge the business impact.


- Lead & manage the development of team members also Mentor team members on process execution, Technical & leadership skills.


- Work with cross-functional teams to facilitate the data collection and performance measurement process and escalates issues as necessary and make contributions to research and analyses on priority projects within established guidelines.


- Proactively leverage expertise in the larger team to deliver positive business impact.


- Proactive & Regular communication with Stakeholders on deliverables.


- Provide overlap till 1.00 PM EST.


Qualifications / Requirements:


- Masters Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Econometrics or MBA or Engineering graduates with overall 8 years of experience


- 6+ Years of working experience in Analytics / Campaign Operations domain.


- 6+ years experience maintaining customer/client/vendor relationships


- 6+ years experience using SAS Marketing Automation, SAS Customer Intelligence Studio, and SAS Enterprise Guide.


- Solid interpersonal skills at all organizational levels, including the ability to communicate effectively and influence others in the business.


- 6+ years experience coding/programming in SAS (or other campaign mgmt. equivalent), SQL and other comparative database languages


- 6+ years with database marketing experience within financial services focusing on client lifecycle/acquisition management


- Strong working knowledge of SQL, UNIX and Excel.


- Proven organizational and timeline management skills. Proven skills in handling multiple projects simultaneously


- Good understanding of USA credit business market.


- Proven ability to deliver Analytical solutions for Business problems.


Desired Qualifications:


- Proven ability to manage and execute campaigns in a detail-oriented environment.


- CRM and campaign automation experience.


- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement new procedures/programs.


- Basic knowledge of applicable bankcard laws, compliance regulations and operating instructions


- Exposure to R, Python & Omniture


- Ability to drive initiates


- Understanding of macro-economic conditions & competitors trends


- Good knowledge of latest Analytical practices in the Industry


- Knowledge of latest Analytics Data Visualization tools like Tableau & SAS VA


- Knowledge on Machine learning and Rules based power curve is an added advantage
