Overview:
We are looking for a product analyst who can be a user advocate and make sure users enjoy and value the product. The analyst will use data to understand how to make the product unique, delight users, and make the product helpful for users.
As a member of the product function, one will also have the opportunity to work with the business teams to adopt the best practices in defining key business and product objectives and ensure that the team excels in making data-informed decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support product teams in their product decisions using quantitative data to inform next steps
- Create metrics, and use existing ones that align to overall product and business objectives
- Monitor metric health and evaluate if the product direction is making users happy
- Provide timely insights behind a change in metric and give suggestions on the next steps
- Define user cohorts, understanding why a feature may work for some users and not others
- Maintain a data tracking plan that summarises which events need to be tracked and why, for analysis
- Balance ad-hoc requests around data analysis with longer projects, prioritising ruthlessly
- Ensure the availability of reports and dashboards for both internal and external users.
Requirements:
- Expert fluency in SQL-based data manipulation
- High level of comfort creating dashboards in Mode, Amplitude or comparable software
- Strong written and communication skills to share insights and influence stakeholders
- Technical background and programming experience - especially in Python or R is a plus
- The candidate should be a quick learner and be up to date with current technology trends. We solve complex, entirely new problems in the financial domain, which requires someone who is not intimidated by challenges, thrives under pressure and is hyper-focused on delivering exceptional results.
- Experience: 1-3 years in product analytics, preferably in a SaaS product company.
