Way of Working: The incumbent can be based anywhere but needs to come down to office every month for a week.

Job Role :

The HR Business Partner will be partnering with the BU/Functional Leaders in crafting people strategy and Talent plans to deliver Business goals and is responsible for the overall execution of the strategy and plan. The individual will also be responsible for delivering employee experience and people processes impacting productivity and is the guardian of the culture. This role will have a larger focus on managing frontline excellence for dark stores employees in Instamart business. The role is a people manager role and will be managing a team of ground HRBPs.

What you would do

- Own and Deliver the entire people charter road map covering key hire-to-retire people processes for the respective functions which you would be managing.

- Partner with the functional business leaders to drive all people processes for the business.

- Lead the Frontline Excellence charter for the Instamart BU covering entire blue collar workforce across all PODs and Warehouses. Build strategy for this charter by displaying high collaboration with Operations teams centrally and solve for upstream business and people issues proactively.

- Lead the execution for this charter by leading the team of POD HRBPs to drive performance management, employee engagement and motivation along with workforce productivity.

- Identifying capability gaps based on Employee and BU needs and partnering with COE/SME to design and deliver on such programs. Develop Employee intelligence to craft highly impactful people processes.

- Leading the wagebill and org effectiveness, performance management charter for Instamart business, work with high collaboration with business leaders to drive wage bill adherence through the FY, constantly monitor org effectiveness of the BU and drive for optimum org effectiveness.

- Demonstrating the impact of the people programs ( COE Led Bundl level programs ) and creating feedback loops to improve the overall effectiveness of the programs

Keepers of Swiggy culture :

- Stress test the Culture : Beliefs ( vision & values ), Ways of working and Rituals & Talent practices to raise timely alarms with managers & leaders and deploy plan of action to course correct ( wherever there is a divergence and identified gaps from the desired behavior at individual and team level )

- Understand and Develop what is the employee value proposition and practices that attract people to and keep people with Swiggy and BU (Partner with Central COE Team to provide feedback , Design and Develop)

Desired Experience :

- 3+ years of relevant Strategic HRBP experience, prior experience in managing ground teams (white collar/blue collar workforce) preferably from Retail Experience.

- High on ownership, Problem solving and strategic thinking skills

- Prior experience working in strong employer brand organization is a plus

- Strong Functional knowledge of Human Resources around Organizational behavior, Performance management , Leadership development practices is a must

- 5 -7 Days per month travel required to visit the cities / PODs
