Support the Non tech Regional BU by anchoring the employee lifecycles effectively, implementing best people practices for the BU and coaching HR team members and peers to excel in their roles.

What you would do:


HR Operations

- Act as the owner for all employee data for the respective BU by ensuring timely update, availability & accuracy of employee data in various HR systems.

- Work closely with the central HR teams to ensure recurring processes viz., payroll, IJP, employee salary inputs are provided on time with 100% accuracy.

- Act as the face of the organization to the employees wherever they have day-day queries, grievances and resolve them within 48 hours (stipulated TAT) working together with respective leadership & central teams.

- Ensure maintenance of proper compliance records (POSH, labour law adherence, incidents etc.,) & its seamless execution as stipulated

- Own key employee metrics for respective BUs, come up with regular interventions to help improve them.

Employee Lifecycle Management and Engagement:

- Facilitate and support business change and performance across supported groups through the implementation of an effective people strategy; influence significant business decisions through a close partnership with a team leader and his/her leadership team

- Work closely with recruitment team to come up with hiring strategy for respective BUs. Ensure JDs, Competency frameworks for respective BUs are available and up-to date by working with respective manager. Assist in recruitment as required ( interviews, debriefs etc.,).

- Come up with structured induction program for respective BUs and executes them seamlessly(Owns BU level induction)

- Stay well connected with the respective employee cohort to gauge the pulse / mood of the employees. Apply analytical ability to highlight & call out what is working well and what isn't and design interventions to arrest disengagement/ enhance retention of key talent. Own employee engagement, R&R for respective BU & drive it end to end with the help of the team members

- Work closely with the business leaders to shape the culture of the BU

- Work closely with the business leaders to plan and finalise workforce planning, Business work flow, overlaying org design and org structures, reporting relationships for the BU along with respective manager

- Own and implement employee performance management and talent actions and reward decisions for the BU

- Assist with retention strategies for key talent. Support the development of employees through the execution of career planning, progressions and talent reviews

- Partner with the Talent Management to deliver talent management practices that attract and develop high-potential, diverse talent for the business unit

- Actively identify learning needs based on 1:1 conversations and pass them on to the learning team and ensure that the capabilities are developed

- Partner with business to drive engagement among employees through strong recognition practices that endorse application of Swiggy Values/ Swiggy first mindset

- Demonstrate Swiggy Values and champion right behaviours to provide the business and employees with a WoW experience

Stakeholder Management:

Work with stakeholders and leadership to align and deliver on agreed business and talent goals

Maintain active and regular communication and reviews with the stakeholders

Influence peers in their respective stakeholder teams independently

Team Management:

Set expectations and delegate effectively to the team members.

Review team performance periodically and provide feedback.

Actively coach team members and help them navigate through challenges and ambiguity

Coach/counsel managers in business teams, help them with timely inputs to help in individual / team performance

Desired Skills :

Strong academic background with MBA is preferred with 3-4 yrs of experience from reputed universities with spike in Academics/Extra curriculars OR Overall 3-4 yrs of top quality work experience in leading HR consulting firms or business consulting roles with good exposure on change management, Org structures and Design , M&A / Strong track record of performance in HRBP/CoE roles with leading organizations in FMCG/e-commerce/services sectors
