Job Summary:
The Senior Manager - Customer Development plays a critical role in driving customer acquisition, retention, and growth for our organization. This position entails leading strategic initiatives to expand our customer base, strengthen relationships with existing customers, and drive revenue growth. The Senior Manager will collaborate cross-functionally to develop and implement customer development strategies aligned with business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the GMV growth pipeline and business development initiatives for key National Accounts.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with major FMCG companies (Regional Sales Managers, Branch Managers, GTM Heads) to increase GMV on the Lynk platform.
- Collaborate with brands to identify and address challenges, reducing brand churn through joint problem-solving efforts.
- Explore innovative strategies to monetize the platform through value-added services for brands and by developing mutually beneficial solutions.
- Lead the development and execution of customer acquisition and retention strategies to drive business growth.
- Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers, including negotiating agreements and contracts.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and initiatives to attract new customers.
- Analyze market trends, customer feedback, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and preferences to enhance the customer experience.
- Monitor and analyze customer metrics and KPIs to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the customer development team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of customer development strategies with overall business objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in customer development and apply knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
- Proven track record of success in customer development or related roles within the FMCG industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and structured thinking.
- Demonstrated sales/business development experience in the FMCG industry.
- Excellent analytical and logical thinking abilities.
- Proven ability to acquire and retain customers, including establishing partnerships with new brands.
- Proficiency in data analysis.
