The Operations function at Swiggy is responsible for order fulfillment, logistics and customer experience. The City Operations Head has the end-to-end responsibility for delivering on all these aspects as per the internal norms of the company. The role would require the candidate to perform the following tasks :
- Developing and ensuring execution of Operational Processes to allow the business to efficiently operate and grow.
- Leading and managing the team of Managers and Executives to offer the best Customer experience.
- Strategizing and executing projects aligned with the company vision and setting timelines to reach those goals.
- Proactively keeping an eye out and experimenting with new features which could provide a seamless customer experience.
- Recruit & Manage the fleet of executives and ensure a healthy and efficient work environment.
- Setting the vision and direction of the team by managing individual and team performance expectations and goals.
- Monitoring real time service levels and schedule adherence.
- Performing ad-hoc analysis and reports based on business needs.
Desired Candidate :
- Graduate with 3-7 years work experience. (preferably in operations or consulting roles)
- Prior experience in process design and operations implementation (preferably in Logistics / Supply chain management) .
- Prior leadership experience. (experience in managing blue collared employees such as delivery executives is an added bonus)
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize in order to meet daily, weekly, and long-term requirements and goals.
- Data analytics skills / should be comfortable working with MS excel. Should have the intuition to use data effectively for devising operations strategy.
- Structured problem solving, detail oriented and customer first attitude.
- The candidate should have entrepreneurial attitude.
- Must have attention to detail and critically think through and resolve problems.
- Must have customer service skills and be able to maintain a consistent, high level of service.
- Must have ability to multi-task, manage multiple accounts and establish priorities.
