About the team and the role:

ATS is an alias to ?All Things Supply?, this Tech Supply vertical inside the Swiggy ecosystem focuses on building platforms and distributed systems to solve multiple business use cases for increasing the customer satisfaction of our consumers, vendor partners, and restaurant suppliers. Swiggy under the ATS group is planning to launch a new business line all together where 0-1 business problems will be addressed and decoded using cutting-edge technologies.Engineering Managers will own the complete ownership of Backend engineers along with the High-level architectural Design.

What will you do?

- The engineering Manager at Swiggy will work closely with the Product Management, Business, Development, Design and Operations team, enabling them by providing scalable and high-quality technology solutions at a rapid pace.

- They co-own the technology vision of the respective team and significantly contribute to the overall success of the team

- You will manage your business goals, contribute to product strategy and help develop your team

- Create clear career paths for team members and help them grow

- Architect & design technically robust, flexible and scalable solution

- Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption and at the same time

What qualities are we looking for?-

- We are looking for a passionate, entrepreneurial, hands-on Engineering Manager to join the Bangalore Swiggy team

- 8-12 years of experience in developing products with 1 year in leading a team of 8-10 people

- In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Back-end engineers to drive innovation in full-stack product development, while relentlessly improving performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Technically Hands-on, prior experience with scalable Architecture managing team of (8-12)

- Coaching, mentoring managers and Architects in the team. Good team management skills with ability to multitask, strong problem solving and analytical skills

- Experience working with Product Managers and UX Designers

- Experience with web technologies, Java/Golang, MySQL, NoSql, redis, Python, Linux, AWS etc.
