Purpose of Ad Sales Team :

Ads Team operates at the intersection of e-commerce and Advertising and monetizing relevant content that benefits consumers and partner brands

Job Purpose :

- Define the roadmap for Ads Monetization charter for Instamart and build best-in-class infrastructure and capabilities

- To strategize and deliver innovative advertising experiences that will help partner brands engage with users ,grow their reach and increases the sales velocity capabilities with best return on investment

- To work closely with Product team to develop a roadmap that aligns with our customer needs

- To build Ads Business strategy across the key tenets of Partner Brands, Cx & RPO/Revenue

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Design :

- Build the Ad Center of Excellence for scaling it on the business side for growth

- Develop the product roadmap for Ads monetization for Swiggy Instamart

- Define the scope and structure of operations within Ads CoE and linkages with partner teams. Create functional strategies for Ad sales and develop SOPs to support its operations.

- Drive the Ad sales strategy with respect to pricing , platform , product, process and people.

- Build the pricing strategy for ad revenues in the short term as well as long-term.

- Ensure effective programme management of Ads and promotions by liaising with Product teams

- Gather Competitive Intelligence data and build engagement strategies thereof.

- Devise the monetary models for adoption new products/features

- Brand Monetisation

- Leverage consumer insights to build and scale monetization channels. Partner with brands to provide solutions for brand needs.

- Improve RoI for Brand Investments

- Liaise with the Business Heads at category level to ensure timely and systematic implementation of the Ad sales KRAs

- Drive revenue through associations and/or alliances with brands

- Identify opportunities for brand monetisation and define Go to market strategy for new sources of revenue.by liaising with Growth and Storefront Teams

- Increase coverage of brands participating in Ads monetization program

- Stakeholder Management

- Liaise with the Finance team for reporting, targets, and planning trajectory

- Liaise with analytics for data mining and identifying new avenues for Ad revenues

- Synergise with product / engineering teams for identifying the product gaps and converting them to business opportunities

- Collaborate with Marketing, Growth and Storefront Teams for delivering solutions for brand needs

- Build capabilities and train the sales teams for effective ad sales. Liaison with product and merchandising team for SOPs and execution

Desired Candidates Profile :

- A passionate technologist with 8+ years of experience in, Ads Product Development, Brand Solutions, Business development, Strategy and performance Marketing

- Has strong people management skill including managing high performance teams and leading cross functional teams

- Have a High growth experience in a startup or B2C/Ecom organizations
