Roles & responsibilities :
- Manage product launches end to end to achieve desired Category Share, Category Strategy & Ownership- Drive the Mall Vision through a mix of NPDs, driving existing portfolio & new initiatives to build a rich and financially viable offering.
- Identifying potential Categories, Sub-Categories and Brands for assortment planning and growth of assigned business metrics, onboarding and growing them MoM.
- Constant benchmark on product range, brand selection, margins, and pricing to ensure leadership position on the same every single week.
- Managing monthly promo, space management, pricing store drive & sales drive to meet monthly targets.
- Ensure product quality and understand product regulations and legal requirements as per Indian Market.
- Manage product Packaging and branding by coordinating with agencies, vendors and other relevant departments.
- Ensure best of catalog quality by aligning the inputs with brands/competition.
- Maintain in-stock availability par excellence.
- Develop a thorough understanding of the market segment, seasonality and current trends/events, and continually monitoring competitor efforts
- Drive category sales growth, share, profitability, and NPD program with customer engagement through shopper-focused solutions across range, activities, engagements, pricing, promotions & vendor management.
Desired Skills :
- Exp with 2-3 years of FMCG (or) Ecommerce in Category Management.
- Demonstrated ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems.
- Identifying customer needs and inventing new ways to meet those needs.
- Tenacity to develop ideas independently and thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment.
- Proven analytical thinking, project management skills, attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills are essential.
- Excellent verbal and written communication with interpersonal skills.
- Extreme attention to detail and willingness to roll up your sleeves.
- Not waiting for instructions, but showing end to end ownership with founder mindset.
Note: This role will require the candidate to work from the Bangalore office for 3 days every fortnight.
