Swasti - Program Manager - Partnerships & Operational Excellence

About the Project:

The initiative aims to build and sustain quality of care in small healthcare organizations. To alleviate the challenges faced by smaller healthcare organizations, we propose to develop an integrated platform to help small and medium sized hospitals avail support of non-clinical services such a resourcing, access to finance, maintenance services, medical waste management etc., thereby allowing for better cost management and patient outcomes, leading to enhanced quality of healthcare. Since this is a new, first of a kind initiative, the program manager role is a critical position, who, in addition to overseeing operations, will be responsible for deciding what will work best for the initiative

Role Description:

Design and implement innovative social business programs, beginning with large scale implementation of successful pilots, and advancing to program level delivery and operations;

Develop and execute commercial and partner operations strategy ranging from identifying and pursuing new opportunities within the realm of the charter, building strong, sustainable advisor oriented relationships, to people management, monitoring performance , budgets and expenses;

Drive sustainable growth through a laser like focus on operational excellence through performance management tracking and monitoring;

Cross functional and cross organizational stakeholder engagement

Key Responsibilities:

- Understand and assess needs and challenges of small healthcare organizations.

- Project execution, team, relevant compliance, and stakeholder management;

- Navigate internal teams and work with diverse cross-functional groups, including business teams, finance, technology, HR etc.;

- Conceptualize and bring to life innovations and new solution features with partners;

- Build strategic alliances with partners and ensure delivery of contractual scope of services;

- Manage partner relationships, risks etc.;

- Develop and optimize processes that continuously improve the operational efficiency of the program;

Desired Qualification and Experience:

- 6-9 years of hands on experience working with vendors/partners across business and social domains in the healthcare industry in India;

- Any graduate/ post graduate degree;

- Demonstrated ability to build and manage partnerships in healthcare services around finance, procurement, service support etc.;

- Experience in managing internal and external stakeholders viz. partners, vendors, internal HR, finance, technology teams, on whom there is high dependency to achieve targets and goals

- Ideal Candidate: Ideal candidates will be people who have worked in business roles in startups, built and taken solutions to market, have extensive partnership experience OR managed operations in start ups

Skills:

- Project and program management skills, including the ability to handle a wide range of tasks concurrently;

- Demonstrate high ownership with a track record of delivering results. Competency in strategic planning and business development will be an added advantage;

- Start-up mindset, having the ability to drive a project from design to pilot phase to rapid scale;

- Self motivated, action oriented, and comfortable working in ambiguous environments;

- Creative with finding solutions and love solving complex problems;

- Entrepreneurial experience strongly preferred
