Job Description: Deputy Director/Director, Monitoring & Evaluation - SWADES Foundation  In line with our ambition to create a permanent, irreversible change in the lives of 1 million rural Indians every 5 years, we are looking to expand our fundraising capabilities to achieve our large scale impact.  Location: Mumbai (Head Office)  Lines of reporting: Reportsto COO   Roles & Responsibilities :   - Program Monitoring  - Data Analysis & Management  - Program Management Support  - M&E Team Management  - Communications & Reporting  Core Responsibilities includes:  - Develop and implement various standard monitoring protocols (including questionnaires and survey designs) for different programmes, research studies, and third party assignments.  - Lead M&E system and process development, creating a framework and procedures for the monitoring and evaluation of project activities.   - Develop proposals for conducting base line studies, process review, monitoring and evaluation studies and impact assessment studies for various donor/partner organizations.   - Manage field based data & information.  - Supervise data management and analysis in the required software.  - Provide Consultation and provide input in synthesizing a process for utilizing baseline information in documentation   - Ensure all project reports are produced on time with high quality.  - Assist in evaluation of different donor's projects/programmes.  - Design M&E trainings for in-house Teams when required.  - Define and implement the key project performance indicators (KPI) as well as monitor them throughout the duration of the projects.  - Perform field visits to ensure the quality of data collected by Programs and to verify the accuracy of reported data.  - Review and analyse weekly reports to identify the causes of potential bottlenecks in project implementation and to enhance quality of reporting   Experience and Qualifications:The candidate is expected to possess the following :  - Strong communication & Data Management skills  - Demonstrate ability to write quality reports (client-ready) within the set time frame  - Total work experience of 10-15 years; with strong monitoring, evaluation & research background  - Any graduate with MBA in Finance/ Economics & Statistics preferred & experience in social sector is desirable.  Personal Qualities:In all aspects of this role the following are essential:  - Solid planning, time management and organisational abilities  - Adaptable and flexible to changing circumstances and needs of the role  - High motivation and ability to work independently on agreed goals and targets   - Commitment to confidentiality  - Open on Travelling to Raigad once in a week for two to three days depending on work requirements.
