About our Client - Our client is one of the largest banking and financial institution globally operating out of over 80 countries across the world. They have created a center of excellence for credit risk in India which is the single largest credit group for them globally and caters to over 11 markets from their 2 centers in India. They are looking for senior banking professionals from developed markets like US or UK with extensive experience in corporate banking and credit risk to support their teams in both the locations in India.

Job Description - Reporting into Global Head of Credit Risk, as a VP/SVP you would support the Head of India Credit Center to ensure that all Credit proposals prepared by the teams are of high standard and meets the expectations of the RMs and clients in those markets. You would also be responsible for:

- Fulfilling the role of directing delivery of corporate credit analysis and credit proposals in line with the roles and responsibilities agreed between various teams across all coverage countries.

- Monitoring the control environment, work flow and management information tools for compliance, accuracy and completeness.

- Build deep co-operation with onshore teams to support a seamless and collaborative environment.

- Develop and improve the skill set of the Corporate Analyst team to ensure stakeholder expectations are consistently met by exploiting own corporate banking and risk experience

- Deepen the relationship with onshore team and active use of internally available training resources to close skill gaps effectively within the team.

The Successful Candidate - You are a CA/ MBA Finance with over 10 years banking experience in developed international markets. With strong commercial and financial management experience with a proven track record handling a large team. An individual who has in depth experience in Relationship Management with Corporate Banking (Large Corporates) and knowledge of Credit analysis looking to make a transition to a global Risk role would be ideal. You should also have the ability to deal with and constructively resolve conflicting views and escalate where necessary in a clear and succinct manner. Able to understand and consolidate diverse and complex business information and identify / mitigate risk issues. This role comes along with certain pressures hence an individual who can cope with tight deadlines would be suitable.
