Key Pointers :
- Deep understanding of the Group's ESG / Sustainability agenda and overall business strategy
- Should understand the BAU's responsibility in ESG finance
- Ability to represent the Group views credibly in external fora involving other major international banks and regulators
- Able to assess the incoming requirements and help the finance team to prioritize the change requirements and work with IT
Qualification:
- Qualified Accountant, with a detailed knowledge of the HSBC's strategy, operations, structure and businesses including experience of traditional financial reporting processes.
- Deep understanding of Group's ESG / Sustainability agenda and overall business strategy, able to project manage and suggest designs for new datasets/reporting in ESG/Sustainability.
- Comprehensive knowledge of ESG and Sustainable Finance developments. E.g.
- Transition to the low carbon economy ability to deal with senior internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner, concise oral and written English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong leadership and influencing skills with the ability to work without direct authority at senior levels across a global organisation.
- Ability to represent the Group views credibly in external foram involving other major international banks and regulators.
- Strong ability to anticipate, identify and mitigate risks and apply appropriate controls.
- Commercially minded and ability to both make decisions promptly and to delegate to others.
- Strong understanding of corporate governance
