About Our Client

Our client is one of the leading Financial Institutions Globally. Due to expansion in their global business, an excellent opportunity has come up as SVP - Head of Risk and Control for their Global Finance Centre of Excellence based in Delhi/NCR. They are looking for seasoned professional with around 18-20 years of experience to join their team as Senior Vice President managing the overall control environment of the site.

Job Description

You would be responsible for managing and strengthening Risk Management and Control Environment in the Finance COE. You would also be responsible for

- Developing and implementing the overall control environment to manage operational losses and compliance to SOX regulations.

- Ensuring that the team meets its obligations in managing the framework aligned to all 3 lines of defense.

- This function will be established in response to the critical business need for end to end knowledge and understanding of accounting processes for all business activity and for all major projects incorporated within the Finance COE.

- You would also be responsible for managing the relationship with Finance COE's Compliance, Group Internal Audit and external audit teams, and is expected to represent India at Finance wide risk and control forums.

- Manage Business Continuity and related responsibilities.

The Successful Applicant

- You must be a CA/CPA/ICWA with atleast 15 years of post-qualifying experience.

- Thorough understanding of financial control principles and regulations like SOX, Basel etc.

- Knowledge of financial systems and reporting processes.

- Prior experience of managing relationships with internal and external audit teams is essential

- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, supporting long term career development
